This one in particular was from like the late 80's or early 90's and it focuses on a black family that are witches and wizards.
What I remember from it were scenes of the daughter just conjuring up a huge mountain of sweets before dinner, then using her magic to backfire on her brother's new date/girlfriend, ended up inflating/flattening her (it was like a cross of the two) and then conjuring George Washington to help with her homework.
My guess is is that the series had only one episode aired and I never heard of it again. I kept thinking it was called "The People Next Door", but there are already another series with that name?
Anyone know what I'm talking about?
