I watched a movie in primary school so it must have been a childrens movie. I dont remember much but there was a boy and girl and they lived in the countryside..I think the boy was taken in as part of the girls family and he started making little wooden figures of animals. He made a lovely figure of a horse and I think he gave it to the girl but someone took it off her and broke the legs off..the girl started crying. I think there was waterfall on the side of a mountain that the boy or girl started climbing and he/she fell and broke their leg. Any help appreciated, Sorry its so vague! It was prob from late 80s/early 90s..any help appreciated:)

P.S my sister thinks the girl was the one to break the horse as she was jealous of the boy but when he fell and broke his leg she felt really bad.
