Hello.
I have been on Google for the past two hours trying to find something, but no luck. So I thought I'd ask here. If anyone here is familiar with the tv show "Amazing Stories" ( http://www.retrojunk.com/details_tvshows/1813-amazing-stories ), please help.
It was from like 22 years ago, and I was only 5 years old, but I remember watching an episode of this show one night, and there was a guy or something that kept saying "I am the shadow man"? If this makes sense to anyone, what was the name of the episode?

look like a cool show, unfortunatly i was a baby at that time (1985-1987)
The first Season of Amazing Stories is already out on DVD. I don't think the particular episode you are asking about is in that season (i have it), so I'm not sure about the episode name. The series was really neat though, and I remember it well from my childhood. You should pick up the DVDs.

The only episode I really remember was "Hell Toupee"....that was fricken hilarious.

You're right. Now I have to pick them up. I'm sure I will find them somewhere.

That was The Twilight Zone (the late 80's color series) episode "The Shadow Man". It ends with the Shadow Man, who the boy thought was his protector (the Shadow Man from under YOUR bed will never harm you), strangling the boy. Turns out that THIS Shadow Man was a shadow man from under someone else's bed.

AMAZING was certainly that . . . I remember watching the debut episode on Sunday evening after finishing my math homework . . . the debut featured a story regarding a ghost train . . . the credit sequence is iconic . . . a number of directors tried out techniques in the show, including Tim Burton . . . :)
Not sure about that one. They used to play sort of like a special around Christmas where it would have one episode of old people playing kick the can and turn into children, one about something to do with a train, and one where santa claus gets arrested and a kid busts him out of jail with santas sleigh. Great show and it was on a couple months ago in the mornings.
