what are some of your favorite novels you read as a child? I remember reading Dear Mr. Henshaw in junior high and loving the entire book front to back. I loved it so much when i found the sequal to the book i had to read it and i loved it just as much so. Another book that just brought back some memories are The Mouse & The Motorcycle collection. I remember loving the book and loving the television adaption I saw when I was a child. I'm not a very big novel reader so it's rare that something like this caught my attention esp. as a child growing up. I dreaded novels but i simply could not put them down.

-Cloudy With A Chance Of Meatballs
      -B.F.G.
      -The Twits
      -Bailey School Kids Books
      -Goosebumps

When I was a wee lad, I was totally into the Goosebumps books, they really did rock. I was also into the Bailey School Kids books where it was this group of friends who were very superstitious and thought that teachers at school, and people in town were what they weren't. For example, their titles ranged from "Gargoyles Don't Drive Buses" to "Vampires Don't Wear Polkadots"

      Good Junk.

My all time favorite book series was the K9 Corps books by Kenneth Von Gunden. About a team of genetically altered talking dogs and their human leader, Ray Larkin.

I also enjoyed Make Way for Dragons, Quozl, the Animorphs series, and a lot of Beverly Cleary's stuff.

I liked the "Choose Your Own Adventure" and "World of Lone Wolf" series; as I got a little older I liked Lloyd Anderson, JRR Tolkien, and Ray Bradbury

Anybody remember The Monster's Ring? I remember that book and I liked those Choose Your Own Adventures too. I remember reading a series of "flashier" CYOA type books where you are a space agent/bounty hunter. Anybody remember that?
