What were the little 4x4 trucks that you turned the switch on the side which immediately started the wheels turning and on some (maybe all) the lights come on? They were pretty small and had foam sprocket looking tires, and the bodies popped off to put the batteries in They made a Bigfoot one and also a Jeep, Bronco and a few others. I think they even made some cars. McDonalds gave away miniature ones in their Happy Meals for a time. I think I was in maybe 1st grade. Maybe KG, so about 1982 ish.... Anyone remember these? I cannot remember what they were called. Prolly something cheesy like "Monster Climbers" or something

They didnt happen to have a lever on the back of the truck, that when you pushed the lever down the front of the truck opened up like a mouth and beared pointy teeth?

Yep, those were Stompers. They were great for when you got mad at your friends. You could get a good chunk of hair caught in the powered axle.

For some reason I'd always lose the truck top. So I'd just have this black brick rolling around. That always killed the play value.

I only had 1. I would let it go under my parents bed and meet it on the other side. The headlights made it fun.

I remember having Stompers. I used to play with those things in kindergarten. I don't know if I still have them.
