Hi

Need help remembering this cartoon show as it has been bugging me for ages.
Pretty sure it was also a book.

Basically there was a group of kids (and possibly a dog aswell?)
who flew to a castle where some evil wizard guy lived
and the evil wizards minions were these blue drip things?
and the kids had to escape or something?
