I liked both versions of Doug; the one that Disney did and Nick's version. I don't get why people tend to hate on the Disney version. I kinda liked the fact they aged the characters a bit, let them have some "real" issues, like Patty's having to deal with her father's liking another woman or even the whole screwiness dealing with Skeeter x Beebee stuff. I loved it!
Apparently, the creators of Doug had violated the rule, "If it isn't broken, then don't try to fix it". I admit the Disney version may have had its perks, but it really doesn't compare to the Nickelodeon version, which actually could have kept the series going. I guess the main issues here are change of format and change of executive hands.
yeah doug actually aired earlier on nick, then when they dropped it Disney picked up. i like both versions, but i like the nickelodeon version a tad better

Meh....I never liked Doug. Just couldn't get into it.
I honestly can't choose one over the other. I don't know which I like better overall. There are aspects I may like more in one version than the other and vice-versa, but not enough to like one series over the other.

I never even knew Disney had a version of Doug until 5 years ago when they showed it on Toon Disney.
It must of been college.
