Bart not being able to go see the Itchy and Scratchy movie WHATSOEVER in the Simpsons episode "Itchy & Scratchy: The movie" . and DO NOT get me started over the flash forward stuff.
They really should do an episode in season 19 of the Simpsons in which the Nuclear Power Plant is on fire and it is up to Bart to rescue Homer. Bart successfully rescues Homer, and as a token of his gratitude, Homer goes back on the age-old punishment by buying The Itchy & Scratchy Movie on DVD for Bart :) .

But doesn't Homer let Bart finally see the Itchy and Scratchy movie when Bart is the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court? Or is this just a dream sequence?

No, it wasn't a dream. Homer did let Bart see the movie after so many years. That's what i like to think anyway. Also, I think that ending was more disapointing than bad. You only got to see a little of the "greatest, award winning" movie that is the Itchy and Scratchy movie.

I thought the ending to Inuyasha was too open ended. They should've at least had one last, huge Naraku/Inuyasha and Co. Fight or something.

All I saw was the Adult Swim Dub, so I don't know if there's episodes that they didn't show here in the States.
