were you ever badly behaved at school under the influence of TV shows you watch, games you play etc? How did your teacher (s) or parent/guardian (s) punish you for it if they did?

Back when I was in Year 3 and Year 4 at school, I was violent and destructive to other boys and girls (as well as some staff) . I felt influenced by violent video games I was playing on my Sega Saturn (such as virtua fighter, mortal kombat and toshinden (spelling? ) ) . As a result, mom barred me from having almost any more of those sorts of games on ANY console (mainly the Saturn and Playstation) (she did however let me have Streets of Rage on the Game Gear at some point during my closing months of Year 4) .
Also, during years 4 and 5, I had a tendency to bear my butt at people under the influence of Bart Simpson. As a result, my parents and brother barred me from watching The Simpsons for 1 week.

Fortunately (even though I don't normally play games of a violent nature nowadays) , my parents are okay with me playing any game I want :) .

What are your stories?

I got a detention in grade two for mouthing off to a teacher using a line from some tv show, can't remember which one. No other incidents like that. Guess the teacher didn't get the refrence.

In college I sang Doors songs at Kareoke nights, they had The End in their database, I had to do it. When I did "The End" I did some of the stage raps Jim Morrison did at the Miami 1969 show he got arrested for, like calling all the audience a bunch of "F**king idiots and f**king slaves." No one cared cause some people did kareoke of hardcore rap stuff that had even more explitives and trash talk in it.

I did once that I can remember in 7th because I was imitating some dance moves Gwen Stefani did on SNL. Because I was asking somebody how she danced at a No Doubt concert they went to. But I couldn't describe the dance moves very well. Then my teacher came by and told me not to do that. She thought I was acting hyper and/or just weird. But that teacher was a bitch anyway and use to have a few "pets" and blame me for things I didn't do.

I was/am pretty much a saint in school, lol. The only thing that comes to mind is this one time when I was in the second grade...My teacher had given us a word search and upon completing it, I noticed that the word "SEX" was directly next to one of the words I'd circled. I started laughing and decided to tell my friend Amanda about it for kicks. The next thing I knew, she was ratting me out to one of the nuns that I was being gross or something....Anyway, I didn't get in trouble for it.
