whenever my mom dropped me off at my kindergarten class and left for work, I cried so hard

and when I stayed over my sister's house whenever my parents went out
I'd miss them so much; I remember one time I missed my parents so greatly that I repeatedly called them at my sister's house and left messages like: "Come on I want to come home" or "I'm ready to go home" (this doesn't happen anymore)

have any experiences like that?

Yep, been there - felt that. My parents use to drop me off at Grandmas house before I was old enough to go to school. Sometimes they would let me stay for 2-3 days and I really missed home. My grandma was cool though and she'd take me out to town and let me pick out a cereal (C-3PO's) then we'd go to the park and play. So it wasn't all that bad but there were those times when you just needed your parents and siblings around. I don't think I could do that to my little girl -- I'd miss her too much.

Haha yeah... But as I got older my parents leaving me was like the best thing ever.

I was always happy when my parents dropped my sister and I some where for a few hrs, over night, etc. Missing them was never a problem cause we didn't. We'd miss our dad a tad but we were used to not being around him due to the hrs he worked. We'd always hoped he'd drop mom off some where's and just leave her there.
It's OK, next time I'll make you listen. I wish that it were in the power of all children to say that to their parents and to know that indeed they would be heard as we were in those wonderful days on Waltons Mountain.Narrator The Waltons (From the Runawa
