If you were an 80's kid you probably watched this in school on PBS.It informed kids about healthy eating habits and how your body works.But,I have 2 questions for those who remember this program.
Question #1-Did the show influence you to eat a healthy balanced diet?
Question#2- Did Slim Goodbody's suit (which exposed his inner organs and muscle tissue)creep you out as much as it did me?

That dude's little outfit was pretty gross.
no one wanted to see what richard simmons would look like if he was disected. And that's basically what Slim looked like.

He was terrifying. I learned nothing from him ... too busy and fascinated by his creepiness. I do remember everyone laughing at his "down doody dwn down down" song. Everyone I know got a real weird feeling from Slim. I wonder if he is still around?

He is still around.He releases videos for educators and is on tour.Yes,live performances.Yuck!

Nah, at the bottom of his costume, I'm pretty sure there was only intestines & stuff.
It wasn't super-realistic. Like, one leg would have only blood veins, and the other leg would have only bones.
yeah, I don't think he had a ding. that would have been too graphic..even for the 80's.

Yeah I remember him. He was creepy as hell. Also, wasn't there a guy who had a body suit made of veggies? Or did someone slip me acid in my drink?
I don't think the show influenced how I ate I use to learn other things like don't ignore sirens and you don't get AIDS from mosquitoes.
I wasn't creeped out by his costume though.

Yeah, we always joked that Slim's most important "parts" were mysteriously missing . . . so, he was genderless . . .

I haven't seen his programs in a long time, but yeah his costume was freaky. I'm envious of people whose local PBS still offers his shows. The PBS station where I live no longer shows educational TV in the afternoon.

Does anyone remember a salad that was getting drowned I think it was cartoon like along the same lines of the "eat right movement"...and I want to think Mr Peanut was involved...and maybe a song something to do with "exercise your chompers"...
