Haha wow, i've seen this before.
And yes, once the Beastie Boys got into the whole hip-hop scene (they started as a punk rock group back in 1979) they wrote a song called "Cooky Puss".
It was on "Before They Were Rock Stars" on VH1, that's probably what you're referring to.

I slowed the audio down a little bit, and it turns out whoever did the voice of Cookie Puss was a woman with a Long Island accent.

Notice how in a few of them, he thanks the viewers for watching the commercials. Now THAT is something which never happens anymore. Its crazy, but I bet if a company did that in a commercial, it'd get a good response.
