One of the most famous television commercials of all time, the Tootsie Roll Pop "Ask Mr. Owl" ad, has been given a major facelift using 3D computer animation.

The original ad.
The new ad.

What do you guys think of it?

No! Why do people think that they need to remake a classic ad? That was not an improvement over the old one. If anything, it was uncalled for.

Oh come on! the old one was just fine...it was one of those things that could stand the test of time and they screwed with it! That's just not right.

I'm fine with it. I do like the original though. This new version will probably never hit the airwaves, though. They had a CGI version with dinosaurs that only ran for about a year in 1999. The original "Ask Mr. Owl" ad has not been seen in its entirety for several years.

Is that a real remake? It looks more like an animation student's final project or somthing.

It's not an official remake, this is simply a fanwork. Hell, it was probably done by a college student for a computer animation project or something.
