Is it just me or does today's food labels like something. Yesterday I'm watching Encho Man and snacking on Doritos when on the movie a sceen involving Doritos comes on. However, in this sceen was the old style Doritos bag. You know the one with the letters in red and yellow square shaped highlights, white bag with the view on the inside. So that got me thinking of the old pepsi and coke cans. Which labels do you wish they would bring back?
I was watching Little Monsters last week, and the old style Dorito bag was in a couple scenes. I liked the see through bag.

I miss that bag too.I just miss original Doritos before they started adding more and more cheese.You can't even taste the chip anymore.Now even Cheesier,Even more nacho cheese taste.The madness has to stop or else it will be a red bag full of cheese dust!
oh all of them, they are so retro. Pretty much one that has not changed is tab.. Still a classic in its own way.

Coke and Pepsi bottles in the 80's.When they abandoned the slim, tall bottles and went to the short,pudgy bottles with the logos and such printed on thin styrofoam wrapped around the bottles this was around the same time 2 liter plastic bottles came out.This was the end of the glass bottles ,they eventually went all plastic.I still get a glass bottle Coke where available but they are 8oz. and about 99 cents per bottle.Pretty expensive for the amount of soda but it just tastes better in a glass bottle.But,not the same as the original glass bottles.In the 80's all the companies went from using sugar to high frustose corn syrup.I heard that somewhere you can still get Coke in glass bottles that have real sugar in them.Maybe it's just a myth.

There is a website called www.sodapopstop.com, they sell imported soda with cane sugar. There is also a place here in Arizona called The Soda Pop Shop that sells imported soda.

I miss the old RC labels and Mountain Dew labels and Pepsi labels!
I sorta miss the old Pizza Hut box--it used to be a simple brown paper box with the Pizza Hut logo in red and black.
Not just labels, but logos I want to see again:
-The 1994 Burger King logo (used from 1994 to 1999)
-The 1996 Doritos logo (used from 1996 to 2001)
-The pre-2006 Carl's Jr. logo
-The striped Wendy's nugget/fries boxes.

Wow, I didn't think about the Pizza Hut box, or the Mt. Dew green and white can. I also like the old rebok label.

Oh man, I remember those white Dorito bags with the view in the middle. I remember when they stopped making them like that...As I was eating lunch with my little brother one day I paused and went:

the new Coca-Cola label is really simple.. it almost looks like that retro look
Coca-Cola: "New Coke"(1980s) Design . It's the One with the Wave with the Bluish-silverish streak in it. and have "Coke" on one side and Coca-Cola on the Other side.
Icee: Red and Blue stripes Icee with frost in the Font. the Polar Bear !

Slurpee: Red, white and Blue stripes, "pricedown" font, and Why not add a pog to the bottom of the Cup.
Burger king: Brown Fry/Ring cups with Orange and yellow strokes or White cups with red and yellow stripes! Tan Whopper boxes, straws with ingredients on them.
Roy Rogers: one word BROWN!
Pizza hut: Yep I'm on the band wagon with the old Brown boxes and the "Hot Pizza" font ! Hell let's bring back Rich Hall to Advertise again! lol
