I sometimes watch it on the internet.
Some episodes are sweet and some episodes are corny (most of them)
Don't get me wrong, I like pokemon, But i sometimes think that team rocket should stop trying to get pikachew

It's pretty overrated.

I don't like the new episodes but no matter how lame Pokemon gets, i'll always watch the first season. It's the best season of Pokemon IMO.

I never really got into the Pokemon thing or the whole Japanimation thing in general with the exception of maybe the old Speed Racer series.

I used to lovve it. not so much the show but collecting the cards when i was little. now i hate it and think its annoying...but thats just me haha.

I've always been a fan of Pokemon, but I stopped playing the games after gold, silver and crystal. A lot of the pokemon created after that don't seem like pokemon. They aren't very creative anymore.

The first games, Red and Blue, were great. But Nintendo used how well the games were received as a chance to market the crap to a younger audience and started making cards, toys, books, a friken cartoon, movies; which of course weren't totally rejected until time progressed and the "childishness" was overdrawn from the cartoon and cards and into the series; making Pokemon "gay". Which is why future games have suffered.

Had the series matured and had a chance to become bigger and better, sans the marketing to kids, it would exist today as a phenomenon treading behind Final Fantasy, but we know that didn't happen, its sad but what can you do...

I have hope we will see a more mature Mario (lets face it, babyish Mario Sunshine was a total disaster) and Pokemon game sometime in the future. Lets all be happy that they have stuck to their guns and kept Zelda and Metroid from being "babyish"

I haven't watched the series regularly since 1999 after WB was dropped here. Since then, I've only seen an episode here or there. A friend of mine in Ohio started to tape episodes for me, so I managed to see all of the Orange Island eps that way. After that, I didn't get to see it as much and seemed to only get around to seeing raw eps.

I liked the first two seasons, and I loved the Orange Island episodes since it was pretty much based on nothing, and I found it very well-done, and I enjoyed Kenji's character and his profession (imo, he was pretty much a researcher; I wish he could've accompanied Satoshi on his journey along with Takeshi too).

The only downside to Pokemon now, is the fact that there are just too many Pokemon so I don't know them very well now. I'd take the first 151 any day in that regard.

Oh, as for TR...I really like how they were in the very beginning. Every feared them, everyone was told to run for shelter, etc. I hate the fact that they have been toned down to that of solely being comic relief. Too bad they can't be portrayed as how they are for the games which is how they were for the early part of the series, imo. Dark and menacing.

Season 1 was the absolute best.

I loved the 1st season and orange islands weren't bad either. I didn't like as much when they added Max and May and introduced contests. I was a whole bunch of other rules they had to tell you about. I stopped watching after the end Hoenn since I knew it was leaving Kids' WB and I don't get CN.

DUDE! I remember the Pokemon fad! Wow... that was crazy! During it's heyday I really liked it. I had the cards, the toys, the videos, even a t-shirt (I got it from some cheapo market and all the colours were mucked up :confused: :p but anyways...), you name it! But nowdays... meh. I dunno, I'm just not into it anymore. I have nothing against it, but, I think I like Digimon more.

It was Ash. Ash won the fight against Misty, but didn't get Togepi. When Togepi hatched, it first saw Misty. So Togepi thought of Misty as a mother.

I forgot about the other stuff.

Video Games

Gold and especially Silver were my favorite games and then Crystal was even better. But I lost interest with Ruby and Sapphire, they were boring and I got stuck on one part so...

Card Game

I was of course a Pokefreak when the show came out so I had to have to cards. I loved them but I never got around to going to a tournament for some reason. Also the fact that Mew and MewTwo were weaker than Charizard and a bunch other Pokemon turned me off.

I was in my late teens when that was in. I coudn't understand the fuss at all. I loved the South Park episode where they parodied the craze.

My friends and I had a dumb inside joke at the time where one of us would say Pikachu in a Beavis voice and the other would say I'm Jiggly-puff in a Butt-head voice.

Meowth wanted Togepi too so he had to battle Brock for it. I love the part when Meowth nurtures the egg and Jessie gets upset.
