Which one was your fave? Mine was Ernest Goes to Jail. Sure these movies never made any sense, but hell, they were for kids. I look back on Jim Varney's(sp?) charater of Ernest and see him as a precursor to the Red Neck/ Blue Coller comedy of Jeff Foxworthy and his pals.

i love those flicks. earnest saves christmas is my favorite. the ones that were full motion pictures were the best. the ones that went strait to vhs or dvd kinda suck.

my dad and I use to watch them all the time he loved them, even the ernest show. I have ernest goes to camp and jail their my fav but the halloween one and school one ohhhh nooooo dont like them..
the only one i really liked was Erenst saves christmas. however for anone that has comcast on there on demans service it shows that under the free movies there is a few eresnst movies right now

I saw them all and loved them all. I don't have a favorite in particular.
Jim Varney is a very underrated actor, he'll be missed.

My favorite would have to be the halloween one ernest scared stupid, I remember I always used to watch that haha.
Earnest Goes to Camp was definitely my favorite. My mom taped it for me and I wore that thing out.
I loved Ernest as a child and I still do. I am an elementary teacher and many of my students had never even heard of Ernest P. Worrell before. So I did what any good Jim Varney fan would do, I brought my collection of Ernest movies and let them watch them during break time. After just a few minutes, they were begging for more Ernest movies. Jim Varney was truly gifted and he is missed.
I told my students that Ernest (Jim Varney) did the voice of Slinky Dog on Toy Story, and they liked him even more...

My favorite Ernest movie is Ernest Goes to Camp. I like the part at the beginning when he is cleaning the toilet and says "oooooooooooohhhhhhhhhh"
Also, I really like the Ernest Family Album. I got it on DVD. I like the Uncle Lloyd Worrell segment.
