I really want to know it all, don't I? I was 3 or 4 when I was with my father at the library, where IIRC they showed free movies. Once there was this cartoon which I don't remember very well, and what I do rememeber has lingered in my head for years. IIRC, it was about a little girl who could sing. For whatever reason her grandmother pulled her ears, until they grew big. Then I think the girl ran away into the woods and sang to the animals. The last thing I remember is something the grandmother wishing she would come back. This must have been some European production (I think the library also showed "David the Gnome").

Any idea what film I'm talking about?
