Remember this movie?

It starred River Phoenix and Ethan Hawke. The movie is about three boys; Ben, Wolfgang and Darren, who create a way to travel into space. They meet aliens who quote television shows.

The real ending is where Ben looks at the glowing jewel and Everyone in class disappears. then you see the Spacecraft that the boys built. then after Ben opens the door to the ship . then the High speed footage and Credits from the cut-up.

Great movie...I need to update from vhs and get that on DVD

Holy shit, I totally forgot about the original ending. I bought that movie on DVD a while ago and it just showed all the kids flying through the clouds. Where can one buy that movie with the original ending? Anyone want to go rummaging through the junkyard to find an abandoned Tilt A Whirl cart and try to create a giant bubble?

Explorers, YES YES YES! WONDERFUL movie, highly underrated. I loved how they turned my fav carny ride into a space ship. (They use a Zig Zag car to make there ship.) It was very clever. And I dont remember thou if it was all jsut a good imagination or if the UFO beamed them up or what..I havnt seen this movie for sooooooooooo long. I pay 150 bucks for cable and internet, all movie channels and its NEVER on!! I hate how the movie channels more or less reair movies that play on the basic channels!! What a rip off..*sighs.*

I've never seen that ending of it. The only one I've ever seen is where he and the girl are flying and they're joined by his friends.

Great Movie.. they don't make good movies where you can just relaxe and get lost in the amazaement anymore.

Just dug that movie out and watched it last month.what a classic.
