About the same here. All my oven/ stove top use was supervised till I was around 13 then I was left to do my own thing.

I'm not sure. I remember making grilled cheeses and scrambled eggs for myself when I was in elementary school. I also remember burning my fingers trying to pick up a hot pan in the oven, like a dumbass, when I was about 8 or 9. I think it was because at that time, me being the youngest and all, my parents just didn't care anymore...
Use the stove?
I still can only boil water and cook simple things.
I fear stoves.
Too bad they never perfected microwave fries, then I would not have a reason to use one.

i was never not allowed i dont think, i just had no use for it until i was really old enough to start making stuff for myself, so i guess, 10? 11 maybe?
I was about 10. My mom always had me cooking ravioli and things for the younger sibs, so I learned early. :)

Are you talking about the Chef Boyardee ravioli? I looooved that stuff.

I recently discovered Oliveri ravioli. It boils/ cooks very fast, it's great.

Yep! I ate so much of it as a kid, I can barely eat it these days.
I started using the microwave when I was about 8. But didnt use the stove or oven until I was about 11.

I dont think i ever had a restriction on the stove or oven, i was just afraid to use it!
i learned how to cook at age 8 using charcoal but i use the stove at age 9, the oven at age 10 :)
I'd say about 8 or 9.
