I have always been a fan of the work of Hanna Barbara, since the Tom and Jerry cartoons, they were great. And I let it slide that they plagiarize (see The Honeymooners, birth of little Ricky on I Love Lucy, Sgt. Bilko, etc.) a lot of their work, I grow up on their cartoons, and it is shame they don't make great cartoons like HB anymore.

Anyway one of the things Hanna Barbara did was be a pioneer is really making the characters be hot despite being cartoon characters, especially the female characters. (Betty Bop did it first I guess, but that is so before my time and I wasn't a fan, reguardless in between that, animated characters especially females weren't really hot). Also back in those days, there were more male characters dressed in drag (Bugs Bunny for example) than actual female characters. And espcially human female characters.

From Betty Rubble to Judy Jetson, from Daphne Blake to Penelop Pitstop, and of course Josie and The Puzzycats, and so many more. They were all hot in their own way, even the house wives. Though I draw the lines at Fred Flintstones mother in law and Mrs. Spacely.

HB knew how to make cartoon characters beautiful despite being cartoon characters, and I liked that they didn't over sex them for example Jessica Rabbit or the girl from Cool World.

Anyway what female HB characters did you think were hot?

I agree with those choices. I have to add Nicara from the 13 ghosts of Scooby-Doo too.

I don't think these count, since HB never created Josie and the Pussycats, they just made the series.
