In the early 90s, I think around 1993, our McDonalds used to actually deliver food to your house or business, seriously. I remember them having McDonald's themed delivery cars too. I remember when I was younger my older sister had them deliver some food to us while I was at her house. I thought it was pretty cool that they did this. However, the delivery thing did not last very long for them.

I've said many times how much I wish a burger place would deliver, because sometimes you just can't go OUT to get food and are stuck with doing delivery. Sadly, the only choices you have are chinese and pizza, many times which I'm not in the mood for.
I wish that delivery thing had caught on.

We never actually had fast food restaraunts that delivered, BUT we had a company that we could call to deliver pretty much anything. There was a small fee and they would pick up and deliver fast food, alcohol, or any food place that wouldn't typically deliver to your area or house. They would also pick up and deliver food from several different places, which was nice if one person wanted Burger King, another wanted Chinese, etc...

That's the only Mc Donalds I knew about that delivers. I don't think any did anywhere that I lived growing up.

The only thing even close was a delivery service that had about 100 menus in a book and you call the delivery company and order from them (the delivery charge was 5.00 per restaurant that you ordered from so if 5 different people wanted 5 different things it could get pricey)

McDonalds delivers to my job.
Not many places deliver anymore not even pizza places, because there is some fascination with ordering a pizza to a false address and robbing the deliver, that makes me mad(like droopy) because pizza hut doesn't deliver to my house!

In Austria (Europe) Mcdonald's does deliver. They also drive Mcdonald themed delivery vans. But, the delivery is so outrageously expensive that it makes more sense to drive down the street to get your food.

I remember a lot of kids would have pizzas from the Little Cesar's near my high school prank delivered to the school. The pizza delivery sucks where I live my cousin who lives near me ordered pizza and they went to the wrong house they got the numbers mixed up and went to 431 instead on 413. A lot of places don't like to deliver where I am either. Mostly the mom and pop places.
