Personal favorite episodes of this show are Hobgoblins and Manos. Santa Claus Conquers the Martians was a good one too. The movie rocks if you can get your hands on it.

Hobgoblins was great. Have you seen Mr.B's shorts? I think that is the name. It is all the psa type videos from the 50's.
Are you ready for a report card????

I would so like to see that show on Adult Swim. Then I would get cable again!

Mitchell! That was, in my opinion, the funniest episode ever. That and maybe the Pod People
            That's cause I live right!

Manos, Mitchell, Time (I forget the second word in the title: Chasers, Spliters, Warpers... something like that) are all great.

I thought the Joel to Mike switch was handled well, even though I'm more partial to Joel than Mike (nothing against Mike, I love him too.) Didn't like the woman as the evil scientist.

I literally (and I mean literally) have every single episode of the show, and am working my way through it. The very first access cable shows are tough to watch because the production value is so low, but its interesting to see where this amazing series got its start.

This show is amazing. I don't really have a favorite episode but it's still a great show to watch. Do they show it on TV anymore?

                  Favorite episode:
                  Godzilla vs. Megalon

The trio are doing running commentary on the monster fight
as though it's a wrestling match

Godzilla is getting beaten by Megalon, and he's down
Godzilla uproots a tree and begins beating his foe over the head with it.

Crow:"HE'S GOT A TREE!! HE'S GOT A TREE!! THAT'S NOT THE GOZILLA WE KNOW! HE'S FIGHTING DIRTY!

& the dysfunctional Orvile Reddenbocker Popcorn segment
Crow:(as Orville Reddenbocker):"I'VE GOT THE KEYS TO THE KINGDOM!! I'M THE GOD!! I'M THE GOD!!!"

                  Teenagers from Outerspace

The evil alien bounty hunter is in a firefight with two police officers in front of the police station.
The cops are kneeling behind a stone column. One officer gets hit by the spaceman's disintergration ray.
Nothing is left but his skelton, which promtly collapses in front of his partner.

                  Joel: "Oop,...Only a flesh wound."

Excellent moments from MST3K. Another great episode is "Soul Taker" staring Joe Estevez, Emilio's "vastly more talented yet greatly less appreciated brother."

There is an actor in the movie with a HUGE face. It's the widest, puffiest thing I've ever seen. He turns to another character at which point Tom says (as the big-headed character) "'Boy that guy's got a small face.'" Its hilarious.

MST3K is the most consistantly laugh-out-loud, witty show maybe ever.

I haven't seen it on the air since it left SciFi channel,
but the team is still at it in another form.

I'm going to have to politely disagree with you, spottedfeather.

Joel was the creator of the show. He was the man. He was MST3K.

Mike was as good a replacement as anyone could ask for, but nothing beats Joel's somber, sarcastic, lumbering, razor sharp comments. He also went on tour with Man or Astro-Man?, which is undeniably awesome.

Mike was the head writer on that show for years, so he probably wrote a lot of what I love that Joel said. I love Mike, but Joel has that certain mystical quality that puts him over the top.

Ah yes, I was introduced to this by my english teacher in 12th grade. I think I went through her whole collection. She did not have cable either so she got them from a friend of hers. It felt a little wierd. Back then I used to wonder if might be trying to corrupt me in more than one way ;) Anyway she was one of the coolest teachers in our school. She seemed to go out of her way to embrace all us outcasts.
The first one she lent me was Pod People. That one, Attack of the Giant Leeches (The Hooterville Seven!) and Mitchell are my favorites.
