Yeah, I had one. I was six years old and in first grade. Most of the boys in my class wanted one too. For us, it was basically the equivalent of a My Buddy/Chucky- a creepy looking "best pal" doll rather than something you take care of.

(And it wasn't just my school- I remember reading somewhere that it was a doll that broke gender lines, much like Power Rangers did for action figures ten years later)

Granted, it didn't get nearly the play of my Transformers/He-Man/GI Joe collection, but it was there in my room, and I did carry him around from time to time.

Anyone else willing to step up and confess to having had one?

I would admit it, if I ever had one. My sister did, though.

          hilarious, i had one

i was like in first or second grade when they came out. My grandmother was going to buy my sister(she was 4 years older) a couple of the when they first came out. We left the house at like 4 in the morning to stand outside this local toy store that open at like 7 am. Anyway once we got in there i threw a fit because my sister was getting all this shit bought for her and i thought that i should get one too. So i got one and i never played with my sister took it and kept it with all of her dolls,

this is so funny i forgot all about that, he was a little boy doll with a blue windbreaker on.

Well I was never a little boy but ya know what I was? I was a little girl who had a mom who got her the generic equivalent of a cabbage patch doll. At a Sale Barn none the less. For anyone who doesnt live in the country a sale barn is the make shift thift sale table at a live-stock auction. It did not really look like a cabbage patch, it had a differant name on the little cotton butt. I was devistated! I was so upset but didnt want to make her feel bad so I took it to school after christmas vaction and everyone made fun of me, well, first they whispered to each other on the playground then they did one of those "kid confrontations". I almost died. :( I knew there was more than one reason that I resented mom!I think I will wait another 25 years to confront that issue.............*sigh*

I had one when I was younger. Little boy doll with brown hair, and blue eyes(I think). I named him Ronnie Walker(I have no idea why) When I outgrew that stage My sis took him and put him with her dolls

                    Oh sure. I had one.

                    His name was Randy Page.

Wasn't that big a deal for a guy to have one if you were under 7.

I don't remember which one I had, but I had one. I loved the things....until my cousin took it by the leg and decided to play Indiana Jones whip with it and knock out one of my teeth. I think I was about 7 at the time.

My sister had a few. I always thought it was wierd that the manufacturer felt the need to put Xavier Roberts' signature on their butts. Anyway one christmas we all got homemade ones. I knew something was up because mine did not have a butt and the nose looked like it had snot rolling out of it. I discovered later, during a trip to Jo-Ann Fabrics, (good night, any trip to that store was pure torture!) thay they sold the plastic heads with Simplicity patterns. I treated mine like a My Buddy

I didn't have one, I thought they were stupid, even when I was six. Why would I want a fat little kid who dressed funny and held his breathe. I was into action figures at that age: Star Wars, GI Joe, Masters of the Universe, those old school Fisher Price adventure figures; I do admit I had a few stuffed animals, though, but that's because I like animals.

Was that supposed to be funny? Because I have to admit, that made me laugh so hard that a little bit of wee came out. :D

I never had a Cabbage Patch Doll. But I did have a Care Bear. Or a Care Bear Cousin to be precise. It was that Braveheart Lion. Lions are cool though. Much cooler than that little General Patton Telly Savalas Cabage Patch...

Who remembers the Cabbage Patch Kid game?

I simply found it ironic but, when we were younger he had a big crush on my older sister and he was into Batman and other boyish stuff. So, I was a bit surprised when, years later, I learned that he was gay. Then I was like: “Well, that would explain the Barbie thing.” Indeed, it was funny.

About the game, I used to play it on ColecoVision as a kid. That was before my mother threw away my console and all the games. I've been able to buy another Coleco with partly all the game I had. There are four games, including this one, which I didn't found yet. When I'll get all the game, my mother will be officially pardoned for her actions. She didn't know how much she hurt my feeling when she did that.

My mum gave all of my Transformers toys to charity one day while I was at school. I was 16 at the time but it is still a sore spot between us :D
