It was a pretty decent translation from what I've heard about it, though some of the names of the characters were changed or even re-arranged for no reason, but it was far better than what was seen before from the likes of companies like Saban (Tekkaman Blade comes to mind).
Definitely. I have a few subbed eps and I saw the dub, and I don't recall much of a difference aside from voices (of course) and names.
Bandai Entertainment released the series on DVD that contained both the English and Japanese versions as well as the OVA episodes some years ago.
Yeah, but it's "out of print" now, so to speak. They should really re-release the box set. I've been wanting this for years. I saw it once in a Sunco, but it was close to $100, and I only had about $60 on me. I had no idea that it would become hard to buy later on.
