Any fans of Scooby Doo out there. If so I have some information, you might like to hear. Cartoon Network is going to air Scooby Doo every weekday for 4 hours non stop.

You think Scooby Doo ain't a hit on Cartoon Network. Cartoon Network has gone Scooby Doo crazy. Starting Monday this will be how often Scooby airs in Cartoon Network weekday lineup. All times eastern and pacific.

9:00AM A Pup Named Scooby-Doo
9:30AM A Pup Named Scooby-Doo
10:00AM The New Scooby-Doo Movies
11:00AM Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?
11:30AM Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?
12:00PM What's New Scooby-Doo?
12:30PM What's New Scooby-Doo?

And next Monday on Columbus Day, Cartoon Network will air an all day Scooby Doo DTV movie marathon. It wasn't that long ago in August, that besides the airing of Scooby Doo DTV movies, Scooby didn't air at all on Cartoon Network. And now this.

Except for the Scooby Doo show and the latest show that airs on Kids WB, it is every Scooby Doo series without Scrappy Doo in their lineup.

I am happy about the New Scooby Doo Movies added to the lineup. The DVD release didn't include all of the episodes. The other shows, either I have or will get them on DVD, and in the case of Scooby Doo Where Are You! every episode has laugh tracks and the HB logo from the late 60's early 70s on the DVD release. So I don't really care, as much as I am for the New Scooby Doo Movies being part of the lineup.

Some of my favorite episodes were not released on DVD, especially looking forward to when they air the episode with Josie and the P. Cats.

Nothing new; CN has over-exposed that dog to a maddening extent!

This doesn't surprise me at all since Cartoon Network has little variety in their line-up anyways.

I love Scooby Doo, but I don't want to watch him a thousand times a day, same thing with any other show.

I would like for them to air Josie and the P. Cats in Space series, if they want to air classic Hanna Barbara shows.

But it is still nice to see classic shows from way back on the main Cartoon Network, especially for those like me, that don't have Boomerang.

I know Scooby has lots of fans including me, but this is a little to much. But I am not complaining about the New Scooby Doo Movies, since they couldn't get all of the episodes on the DVD.

Supply and demand I guess, Scooby Doo is a hit on their network, but don't press your luck Cartoon Network bring back any Scooby Doo series with Scrappy Doo. Most people hate that little mutt.

I'm a Scooby fan but this is overkill. Oh well I'm not complaining.

The New Scooby Doo Movies is a the first Scooby spinoff, that has one hour episodes, and has a special guest star in each episode, that helps them solves mysteries. Guests include real people Sonny and Cher, Phyllys Diller, Don Knott, Don Adams. Fictional characters such as the Adams Family, Batman and Robin, and my favorite guest stars Josie and the P. Cats. (I don't know if I can say their full names on this website. I am not taking that chance)

I thought the show was okay, but the gang didn't need a weekly guest star to help them. And streaching it to one hour, sometimes hurt the show.

I can't wait to see the one with Josie. I wonder if Alexandra will question the way the teams are formed when they split up. The Scooby gang it was always Fred and Daphne on one team. Scooby and Shaggy on another team, and Velma as the wild card. No one questioned it, while on Josie and the P. Cats Alexandra always complained why Josie was always paired off with Alan. Plus how will Scooby and Sabastain get along, dogs and cats are natural enemies.

Scooby going into overload on CN would be nostalgic but it wouldnt be the same with the revamped look. :(

One other thing you need to realise, these series didn't have that many episodes for a 2 episodes a day airings.

Scooby Doo Where Are You! had only 25 episodes, so instead of 5 weeks worth of episodes, it is only 2 and half weeks worth of episodes. Pup Named Scooby Doo had 29 episodes, so it is close to 3 weeks worth of episodes, and What's New Scooby Doo has the most episodes of these three series running 39 episodes, plus 3 holiday themed episodes that only air once a year. Instead of 2 months worth of episodes, it is only 1 month.

Not only might they be over expousing Scooby in quantity, but these episodes are going to go by fast, and it is only a matter of time, before ratings go down, because of the audience seeing the same episodes not to long ago from the last airing.

Wow! CN really has gone Scooby-Crazy. Looks like they just did a last minute line-up change, because they did have movies playing in between those times when I looked at my guide the other day. A little overkill perhaps, but it's really not too bad! I'm glad to see New Scooby Movies on again. I wonder how long this will last!?

Ugh! I hate Scooby Doo! Though the first series back in '67 had pretty well written mysteries, I'll never get why Scooby's the star and why people like him so much. Besides, it's the same thing every episode. The villain's always dressed up as a monster, the gang stumbles upon it, they're chased by the guy/gal with Scooby and Shaggy doing their usual scaredy-cat antics, and they eventually trap the guy and take off the mask. Why can't these bad guys come up with something else?

And when they had those movies playing in the morning. Many times it was a Scooby Doo movie.

Still it is nice to see shows from the late 60's, early 70's on the main Cartoon Network. All of these Scooby shows are probably just filler, holding the timeslot till Cartoon Network can find something else. Whatever was in the timeslots before probably flopped and Cartoon Network didn't expect it, and they need something to fill time till they find something else.
