Does anyone remember Kellogg's Corn Pops cereal? It was called Sugar Pops when originally introduced in 1951, and then it was extended to Sugar Corn Pops a few years later, and by about 1970 it was shortened to the present name we all know.

It had been shortened to just Pops for a limited time in early 2006 (probably from January-March), and then it was called Corn Pops once again. As of April 2007 a new version called Chocolate Peanut Butter Pops was put out on the market (as Kellogg's answer to Reese's Cups cereal, marketed by General Mills).

i remember this cereal, and actually i havent seen any commercials for it at all since the ninties..hmm weird, i just noticed this.

I only remember Corn Pops, because the other stuff I wasn't around when it was introduced.

I saw a commercial for Pops last week there are some puppets in it. I never remember them having the name "sugar" in them but my parents do.
