Don't really think much of it being a pilot myself, but I enjoy what they were going with here with that expressive animation.
Yeah, but you can tell that Duckburg and The Beagle Boys defiently evolved from this. As for Goofy not appearing on the show, I guess he was going to be in Goof Troop anyway.

Technically "Sport Goofy" was something Disney did in the mid 80's that was it's own thing and this film was like a vehicle for that.
