    The childish side of me wants to make a whole drum kit out of household objects.

    One big hefty plastic garbage can for the bass
    4-5 smaller ones for toms
    2 more for floor toms
    a metal one for timbales
    2 car brake drums
    some circular saw blades (with the teeth soldered together for safety)
    maybe the top cover to a desktop PC or two with a hole drilled in the middle
