I seem to remember watching this show, for some reason I want to say it came on after (or possibly before) the Flash.

I could be completely wrong. It seemed futuristic and set in the city. And there was a guy who talked to something that floated behind him a little. For some reason my brain remembers a metalic orb. Similar to flight of the navigator in apperance lol

I was told there was a show on at that time that involved a guy and newspapers and he time traveled. Its possible that is the show but I have memories of these being two seperate shows.

And its not Quantum Leap which has been given to me as an answer before lol. I dont know why I didnt ask here before. I have just lurked here for years and in the past few kinda forgot about the site :(

all i can think of is Early Edition but that was in the late '90s i think. The dude got the news paper a day early and he would try to stop the events from happening.
