Just that it seems there are so many more 90s kids around here it feels like I can relate less and less... I mean, remember when "Old school Nickelodeon" meant "Double Dare" and "You Can't Do That on Television," or even before that, "Today's Special" and "Pinwheel," not "All That" or "Kenan and Kel"?

I enjoyed 90s cartoons, but I think it's a little different enjoying them as a teenager rather than as a kid. When I remember "Transformers," I remember it with nostalgia. When I remember "Batman: The Animated Series" I remember it simply as an extraordinarily artfully crafted program. It doesn't have the "nostalgia" aspect for me quite as much.

Though I guess I;m something of a 90s kid too since I went to middle school in the early part of the decade.

I don't really see too many 1980's kids around. When I look at the topics on here, it's mostly about stuff from the 1990's. Don't get me wrong, I love the 1990's but it makes me feel old seeing so many Jr high/high school kids on here. I don't mind this, but I have siblings who grew up in the 1980's and have fond memories of 1980's TV shows and movies.

I was born in '84 and I consider myself to be an 80's kid but many would say that I'm more 90's since I was so young during the 80's. I can say one thing for sure though; TMNT and The Real Ghostbusters are 2 of my all time favorite shows and they are both as 80's as it gets.

Video killed the radio star, then MTV killed video.

I was born in '69, so technically I was a 70s kid, but have the most fond memories of the 80s. And I just have to say that it is a crying shame that kids nowdays have no idea how awesome it was on Saturday mornings-Land of the Lost, the Bugs Bunny and Road Runner show, School House Rock commercials...nothing compares.

Hey everyone! new to the site (DOB 1974). But I do remember shows like Nu Zoo Revue,The great space coaster, groovie ghoulies,Kids incorperated, Jem and the Holograms, Salute your shorts, kidd video, galaxy high cartoon and the ABC afterschool specials . Now I'm a proud parent of two girls and I tell them about the great cartoon shows and how the shows they watch now are nothing compared to when I was younger.

I was born in '82 so some of my childhood was in the late 80's and some was in the early 90's. Looking back it was a good timespan to be a kid, but often I wish I was older in the early 90's.

I was born in '79 so my childhood was in the 80s myself and those were good times. I had good times in the 90s as well so I have a lot of good (and some bad) memories from them.

I'am born in 85 and i appreciate all things retro from the nineteen thirties all the way to the ninties. I don't mind the younger kids posting on here about ninties things but your right there are more and more teens posting on here, it's all good though, unless they have stupid shit to say..spamming and the likes  :)

I'm a Sag from '78 and this place does makes me feel kinda old too. I turn 29 friday the 30th. This'll be my last year in my 20's. I'll have a full decade tween me and my teen years. Christ, now i'm starting to depress myself. Loved the 80's. Ya know, up in New Jersey, around the echelon mall, was a movie theater called the Cinemark. During the summer sometimes it would play movies from the 80's on a screen or two after midnight. Got to see Tron, ET, Indianna Jones, and quite a few others on the big screen.

As an 80s kid, I sometimes find it a little funny when someone is getting all nostalgic over something that happened 6-7 years ago. I'm thinking, "Are you kidding me, that was like five minutes ago!" As I get older, time seems to move faster.

I was born in 1975, which made me a perfect role for an 80's kid.

I grew up during the 80's time era relating to most of the sit-com kids of the 80's such as Who's the Boss, Kate & Alley, Mr. Belvadere, Small Wonder... etc.

I had a chance to sample both Pac-Man & Donkey Kong cereal (liking both quite a bit... not sure because it was video-game related or the taste, however).

I played all systems from the Atari 2600's hay-day to their 99 cent bin in K*B Toys, and peaked at the right time around Nintendo's NES system, aging right along with the other gamers of that era who seemed to grow right along with me, including EGM/GamePro editors & even factual data that shows growing-up gaming had to adjust its metrics from the initial target of kids & teens in the 80's to late teens in the early 90's, to the 20-something crowd in the mid & late 90's.

Now... some stuff STILL seems to cater to my age-group because on shows like Family Guy & Robot Chicken, because Seth MacFarlane & Seth Green are around the same-age, a lot of their shows make pop-culture refrences to 80's stuff that us growing up in that era clearly remember & laugh our ass off about, while others it flies right over their head.

I was born in 1981, if that counts as being an "80s kid" who used to watch Pinwheel, Today's Special, You Can't Do That On Television, and Double Dare, if that counts. =P

You know that Double Dare started October 6, 1986? My b-day is October 6. ^_^

I was born in 1977, grew up in the 1980s. I miss the old Saturday Morning cartoon blocks of the 1980s and USA Cartoon Express.

I remember when FOX first came out with their first prime time line up on April 5th 1987 (I was 10 at the time).

I agree with mlw1984, it does make me feel old seeing high schoolers on here.
