I honestly thought it would never happen. To me, there's only one Van Halen, and that's with David Lee Roth. I was only 6 or 7 at the time, but because of my brothers who were 10 - 13 at the timeI still fondly remember songs like "Panama" and "Jump".

They have been dying onstage. Read some of the reviews for their reunion shows. It ain't pretty. Personally, I hate Roth and EVH, so I am pleased.

Personally, I'm really glad they're getting back together. . . . .Eddie's son Wolfgang is now playing in the band, too. I saw Van Hagar about ten years back with Skid Row opening (great stuff) . . . . .but I'd love to see DLR back with Eddie when they come through Chicago!

I love their older tunes, but honestly, I'm one of the rare VH fans that enjoyed Hagar-era stuff more. . . like "Runaround", "Right Now", and "PoundCake". . . . .awesome stuff!

The only thing is, there was a similar reunion recently, for some reason I can't think of their name right now, but, its sorta like this. They broke up for a reason...

Although personally I find this exciting. I'm just saying I'm not gonna get my hopes up.
