I used to watch this old animated film on either YTV or Teletoon in Canada, several years back. They would play it over and over again around Christmas, and although I never saw the whole thing I still loved it. It was an animated film, featuring a young boy and a talking magical mushroom; there was also a large blue dragon (which turned black and evil at one point) and a princess whose name was, I believe, Blanche, who took out her heart and set it afloat in a jar. (The boy finds it at the very end, looks into it and says, "Blanche!") The main plot revolved around a big guy with black hair who wanted to have a Spanish church (the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela looks most like what i remember) for his mausoleum. Towards the end, an old businessman offers to sell it to him, but for some reason ends up in a bulldozer-backhoe threatening to tear it down. Then a fire starts and the melting machine briefly resembles a scorpion. Possibly the craziest description ever, but that's what I remember of it. Is this making ANY sense at all? Thanks.
