I loved corn Pringles. They were produced in the early 90's.

My favorite flavor of Doritos was Sonic Sour Cream. It was in a neon green bag, available in the late 90's to early 00's when all of a sudden Doritos came out with several "new" flavors. Here is a pic of the bag: http://www.taquitos.net/im/sn/Doritos-SSC.jpg
Though apparently there was a sour cream and onion flavor Doritos in the 70's as well.

Are 'tato skins still around? I haven't seen those in ages.

Hostess chips with the formula before the horrible (and as far as I know still in use, I haven't eaten any since 1995 so I wouldn't know) mid 90's 'new and improved' [that should be over flavored and over salted] revamp.

Crunch Tators Mighty Mesquite and Hoppin Jalapino potato chips - I think they were by Lays.
Pringles Corn Chips - They tasted better than Fritos.

There was a test flavor for Doritos in the mid 80's ? and I believe it was befor Spicier Nacho. I remember it was like Spicier Nacho And I think it had a garlic and or an onion on the cover.

Mine were the Doritos Extreme. They were extra thick and zesty, and had very bold flavors. Probably back in '01-'02.
Not retro, but the thread just said "discontinued".

They're still around. You might find them in a few supermarkets, Big Lots, Beer and Pop warehouses. Do you remember the jingle? " 'Tato skins got baked potato appeal, cuz they're made with potatoes and skinnns that are real..."
Two chips I really miss though: One was O' Grady's. These were THICK cut cheddar cheese-flavored chips. Those crumbs would stick everywhere in your teeth but man were they good!
There was also a potato chip shaped like Combos, but they were called "Doolies". One flavor was sour cream and onion: the chip itself was shaped like a Combo (cracker- or pretzel-snack), and inside the chip was a sour cream and onion filling.

Do you mean "Munchos", which were a potato chip but they were kinda fluffy, like they had air injected into them during the process. Those are still around :).
There is a brand called "Munchies" out now which is just a bunch of different kinds of chips or things mixed together in a bag, like their cheese mix includes nacho Doritos, Cheetos, and cheddar Sun Chips.
A lot of things could be regional too, like what they have available where I live might not be available 1500 miles away in another part of the country.
