there was just good memories there as a kid, nothing special about the store though

Pretty much when the first Cub Foods opened up in my town (Toledo) back then, it felt like a completely different place to the supermarkets I've been to before, probably more the atmospheric layout if anything since it felt huge inside. Most other chains at the time here were still pretty small by today's standards. Of course nowadays they're at the point I can't stand trying to go into them due to their mammoth sizes.
