Maybe this is just me since I had no cable from 1985-1993 and 1994-1999. But when I was watching PBS in the mid 90's after school I always watched two shows. Wishbone and Ghostwriter. I remember Lenny ( Blaze Berdhal ) from Ghostwriter and how I had a big crush on her and on Wishbone my hormonal attention was drawn to Sam ( Christie Abbot ). Both girls were very attractive to me. Did anyone have a crush on either of these two lovely girls? Or even remember the shows they were on?

I remember the shows though I didn't go out of my way to watch them.

I did, however, have PBS crushes. I crushed on the members of Rockapella who were on Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego, singing the theme every episode. I particularly liked Sean Altman.

The quality of PBS programming far surpasses anything else. I don't think that sucks. Makes you avoid all the mind numbing commercials.

When I go "up north" and PBS is all that comes across the analog TV, I enjoy it just the same or better. I always learn something.

Well I will say this on Saturday nights my fiance watches Lawrence Welk and I do on occasion and then we watch whatever movie comes on at 8pm on there cause they have decent classics on there. I was exposed to the The Blue Man Group , Celtic Women and Michael Buble for the first time through PBS. Im a great fan of many types of art and PBS does well in that regard as well as one of my favs like cooking shows.

Well, I was about 10 when I discovered Ghostwriter (great show, by the way, came on at 5:30pm where I live, right before Where in the World is Carmen Sandiego? at 6pm), so I did actually like Blaze Berdahl (not at first, because I thought she was a little bratty, then I started liking her more when I noticed that she had started "developing" during the last season (remember, I was something like 10 or 11 when I was looking at this, not 22). As for the girl on Wishbone, I could care less about her. Seemed nice enough, though.
