The film Dollman is a classic. It is about a cop from another planet who is stranded on Earth after persuing his enemy Sprug through space. On Earth, their height has been reduced to a mere 13 inches, and they pair up with the opposition: Dollman (real name Brick Bardo) is befriended by a woman called Debi, and she takes him home. Her son mistakes his spaceship as a toy from his fave TV show!!

Sprug brought with him a very dangerous bomb, still believing it will destroy the entire universe. Of course, the bad guys are running the neighbourhood, and they try to gain revenge on Dollman for shooting two of their men. But one advantage is that Dollman is equipped with a super powerful gun, that has some sort of explosive bullets. On his own planet, it could blow people into a thousand bloody pieces, so you dare not piss him off...

I was really impressed with the film the first time I saw it, and I have watched it several times since. It is a short, cheap and entertaining movie that has some nice ideas thrown in. But the sequel Dollman vs. Demonic Toys is not nearly as good. Dollman basically gets a 13 inch girlfriend, and there are four evil toys that are trying to regain their master's strength so he may re-appear and wreak havoc on the world. Dollman is recruited by a normal sized lady cop, and it only gets slightly better after that. It is also a follow up to Demonic Toys, and another movie called Bad Channels. So it is really a sequel to THREE separate movies!!!

I've seen Dollman 2 which is alot funnier than the first one. Yet again it is about a cop from another planet who lands on earth through a port hole while chasing an alian, and somehow can't get off the planet. Brick Bardo is still reduced to a mere 13 iches and makes his appearance by landing on rocks next to a highway. Dollman is sitting in his ship and hears a lady in destress from a spider about to attact her so he comes to her rescue.

There sitting on the kitchen bunker is a blonde small built lady the same height as him sitting minding her own busniess surrounded by a minature cereal bowl and other stuff. They get to know each other and she insists on tagging along on his request to kill the demonic toys. Somehow, Brick Bardo knows they are in a toy factory and helps out his fellow friend Judith (who is also a cop but from earth) to kill them but she doesn't survive from the gun wounds she recieves from demondrod.

I won't give too much away from now on so best go and see the film.

      Well put.

I think there will never be a third.
