This movie was just on...on Easter I beleive. I always thought it was a fun movie- think I saw it when it came out in 1987. One observation: Meg Ryan, she doesn't really...age, does she? I mean I haven't really watched any recent movies with her in it, but if my memory serves me right (and who knows, it might not!) she just...doesn't look much different.

Any other opinions...about the movie?

Great movie, and of all the ways to die being digested has to be one of the worst ways to go.

Awesome movie made by the great, Joe Dante. The commentary on the dvd is awesome and the performances are rock solid, especially by Kevin Mcarthy, Dennis Quaid and Martin Short. The scene in the grocery store where Martin flips out because of the Electric pulse booster is still as funny as it was years ago and the one goon that keeps fainting.

I often wish a series of adventures with these same characters were made but alas, the film is perfect on it's own.

This is a great movie, the director, Joe Dante, also directed The Burbs, both Gremlins movies, Explorers (loved that as a kid), Rock N Roll High School, and The Howling, among other things.

As for Meg Ryan aging, yes she has. The last time I saw her was a few years ago, when she made that boxing movie, where she was a manager or something. I didn't see the movie, but she was a guest on "The Best Damn Sports Show Period" on FOX Sports, and she looked awful. She looked very old, at least compared to how she looks in the movies we all remember her from. I was very shocked watching the interview. But hey, we're all going to age. And she probably looks better than most women her age.
