I have to say i didn't watch the US version in it's entirety, as i never found the episodes up for Download, i did watch the Jap version though. From whatever youtube videos i saw of the US version i have to say it was really bad, really, really bad. The jap version wasn't anything to write home about either, but still, at least it gave us a small glimpse of what the fighters could be doing before the Tournament, even though the final part wasn't a Tournament and was still a Bison fight...
Anyway, let me know what you think was good or bad about both.

i dont know if it was the japan version or the us version but i used to watch SF2 the anamated serise... and i also had SF2 the movie uncut..

I've seen a bit of the US cartoon. It wasn't bad but it was way better than the live action movie but that wasn't hard to do. In the US version Ken sounds similler to Dead eye duck from Bucky O'hare. I remember when Alhpa was released some of the characters were in the US cartoon. It even included the final Fight cast in one episode.
I'm sick of everybody criticizing the U.S. cartoon. Of course if you watch scenes on YouTube you're gonna think it's bad because people like to put certain parts up, poking at any tiny unintentional humor that could be found in them, and of course YouTube Poop. The cartoon was basically a resurrection of the old G.I. Joe cartoon with Street Fighter characters instead, and I love it for that (especially because I'm more of an SF fan than a G.I. Joe fan). So criticizing that is basically like criticizing the old G.I. Joe, and I don't see how anybody could say that's bad. :?
I like the animes for their accuracy, and I like the American cartoon for its hilarity. :lol:

If by US Cartoon you mean the USA Network cartoon, no, didn't interest me.
The anime movie kicked a** though, I haven't seen it in years and can't seem to find it in DVD stores.

I liked both fine. I think I like the Japanese version (well the movie I saw, hated some of the art, though). I liked the US version a lot. I didn't find anything wrong with the US version. Anyone here who's actually full watched both to even give a fair opinion on both?

I never even knew there was a US Street Fighter cartoon. Sounds great though.
Edit: I've just watch some episodes on You Tube. It seems like a pretty good cartoon for kids. I'd like to see the whole series just for a laugh.

Sorry, but do you know how many people judge things just based on other people's opinions? It annoys the hell outta me. :/ If you don't like it that's fine, but at least give it a chance by watching episodes and not certain clips uploaded by biased people.

For one thing, it has many plot inconsistencies with the established canon, but things like that don't bother me. It's Ryu taking three episodes to do a hadouken or Ken tied up shouting "CHUN-LI!!!" for thirty minutes straight that do.

I like the american Darkstalkers better then the US Street Fighter, but neither was really that great.

That's what I was gonna say as well. I just watched the US episode with Akuma in it and he fired off a fireball mid-sentence which is more in keeping with the video game than Ryu's Kame-hame-ha fireballs in the Japanese Street Fighter.

I've got it on X-Box and they cut the Chun Li shower scene because the game is PG rated. Funny stuff.
