What was the name of the farm animal segment? Orson's something, I think.

      I always thought that egg with the two feet popping out was the most adorable thing.

        The actual name is U.S. Acres. It was called Orson's Farm outside of America.

              Here's the cast but I don't know the names except Orson the pig.

                  Oddly, the DVD releases also use the Orson's Farm title. Minor quibble, but it would have been nice to have the original title. I'm in Canada, and always remember it being shown as U.S. Acres on television.

                  I hate it when they change titles like that. Like how Beast Wars was changed to Beasties for YTV...bleh.

                    I always loved Wade Duck. I felt so sorry for him, being scared all the time, that I almost developed a cartoon crush on him.

                      I made an Uncyclopedia page about it...but sadly it got huffed.

                      And yes, It's U.S. Acres. I liked that segment as well as Garfield.

                        My favorite U.S. Acres bit was when they had Orson as Agent 00Orson. I still remember the song they had for that and I haven't seen it in ages;

                          That was good stuff with the Double O Orson episodes (I think there were 3 of them). U.S. Acres was generally good, but a little too preachy at times.

                            I remember this Garfield show to be my favorite, I didn't know it was called U.S Acres in the USA, I knew it as Orson's Farm as well since I live in Bolivia.

                              I never enjoyed the musical segments in US acres. Ive always enjoyed Garfields quick wit and pop culture references.

                                Why was it they changed the title, so that people wouldn't be aware that the show was supposed to take place in Kansas? As in the U.S., hence the title?
                                Kind of dumb if you ask me. Nobody goes around changing all British shows to be set in "New York" instead of London and dubbing over all the voices so that nobody knows that the show is foreign.

                                Oh wait, they do that with Anime.

                                    I think it was a good idea to change the title. "US Acres" just sounds ethnocentric and weird to people in other countries. "Orson's farm" was far more neutral.

                                        AND THATS WHY DUBBING SUX RITE!?!

                                        Well, it wasn't unheard of. From the beginning of media entertainment to the '90s, things were changed for Europe a lot. For example, I'm pretty sure G.I. Joe had an entirely different name (Action Force?), and the enemy was "Red Force" and not Cobra, I believe. I somehow have doubts that Captain America was left as is, and they removed the "Sonic Says" segments of AoStH, which usually consisted of American things (e.g. Call 911). And let's not forget Contra/Probotector... well, that was Japanese, but still.
                                        Game... ovahhhhhhhhh!!!
