Ok, this one is a long shot.

I vaguely remember getting a toy in the very late 80s early 90s.

All I can remember about it is that it was sci-fi themed (in other words, something to do with space or the like), it could have been a space ship or just some kind of platform, and it was supposed to talk. I also remember that it was supposed to work in conjunction with action figures. There might have been pegs on which you attach the action figures, but this is a bit hazy.

Not much to go on, but it's all I remember.
