I used to have a Casey Robot tape player. I looked it up online, and the only one that comes up is one with a "digital" face. I know for a fact that mine only had lights for the eyes and mouth. Pretty sure it was a casey robot, perhaps a later version? Did anyone else have one?
When he finally broke I made every family member say goodbye to him before we had to throw him out. I loved that thing!

OH MY GOODNESS!! I was trying to figure out what that was....was it blue and gray and came with a read along book?
I had casey when i was very little and loved that thing... I used to put in music tapes as well,..casey's mouth would mjove along to it like he was singing..was cool for alittle kid :)

I had alphie as well...my thing back then was robots... I loved short circuit movies and wanted all kinds of robots. but casey was ebtter then alphie IMO.
I had one of these when I was about 3 or 4. I still have one of the cassettes in one of my 'Old school toy totes.' I don't remember much but I did know it rarely worked properly, I'm pretty sure that the batteries blew up inside of it and that's why I had to get rid of it.

Yeah I totally still have the tapes and books somwhere in storage! Oh man. That thing was great. The poor mans Teddy Ruxpin... but Robots are cooler anyways. ha ha.

I had Alphie. I remember feeling a great sense of accomplishment getting those answers right, seeing his face light up, and hearing that victory music.
