I remember seeing a few kids back in the late 80's/early 90's that wore t-shirts that said "I beat Super Mario Bros." I think there was also a shirt for Zelda. Feel free to correct me if I am wrong but I was pretty sure that the shirt said Mario Bros 2 but it might of been Mario Bros 1.

If you had one of these do you remember where you got it from. I never saw them at say Target or K-Mart, so did you order them out of Nintendo Power?

As nerdy as I was as a kid, I even thought back then it was kind of a dorky shirt. A t-shirt with Mario on it would of been cool but to tell the world that I beat Mario Bros like it was going to give you street cred or something was kinda stupid.

"Hey man give you all your money....oh wait sorry I didnt see the shirt, please forgive me, actually could you help me with level 7?" That really happened to someone I knew....ok maybe not

I still have mine, but I bought mine with JUST the logo on the front, and on the back I had it customized with the shortest time I beat it in.

Super Mario Brothers was never much more than a racing game for me.

I can do the whole run-through-Super Mario-start2finish no power ups thing. I practiced hard core on my old game boy but some how the version adapted to the gameboy sp was different from the original. like it played differently, some things would get you killed that you could get away with in the original, or vise versa.
