This has always been one of my favorite movies but, there's always been one thing that kinda bugged me...
The movie's supposed to be set in Hollywood in 1947 yet at the end of the movie when Porky Pig says his famous "Th-Th-That's All Folks" catchphrase Tinkerbell flies out and waves her magic wand. Now what irks me is that Disneys' Peter Pan didn't come to theatres till 1953 (I think) so why would Tinkerbell be there when she hasn't been animatingly (not a real word but go with me here) created yet?
Could someone please explain this to me?

Very good question. I've always treated timeline errors like the closing scene you've just described as another case of artistic license.

The creative community involved with both television and movies always seem to play funny with the details if it makes a show better.

I try my best to live with the results because "Hey, whacha gonna do?"

Here's a simple retcon for you - While the MOVIE of Peter Pan wasn't made until 1953, that isn't to say that Tinkerbell wasn't living in Toontown prior to that, looking for work. Just a small town girl trying to make it big. Betty Boop was seen waiting tables, so who's to say Tinkerbell didn't have a similar kind of day job while looking for her big break?

i don't think the end was ment to match the timeline there..it was just to close it using the warner brothers and disney closers.

That really wasn't a timeline thing IMO. It was more like a huge party trying to mention every single somewhat well known Cartoon Character into 1 scene.

I tend to agree with this theory. I'm sure if you backed the director/writer/whatever into a corner and forced them to give you a straight answer, it would be something like the above.

Yes, the movie was building to a BIG finish and for the grand finale just hit'em with everything ya got.
