Just curious to as what was everyones last new game they bought during the first 3 Nintendo systems.

For the NES the last new game I got was Star Tropics. It was around 92-93 and the Nintendo on was petty much ready to be retired and Toy' R Us was trying to get rid of NES stuff so I got a brand new Star Tropics game and an NES Advantage controller for 25 bucks.

The last game I got for the Super NES was Super Mario RPG Legend of the 7 Stars. I remember getting it the day 7th grade ended and I just spent all summer playing the game and loved it.

For the Nintendo 64 the last game was Conkers Bad Fur Day. This was the first and one of the only fews I was ever carded to buy a video game, I had just turned 18 so I had no troubles.

So what about you guys what were last games you bought during the systems life span?

EDIT- When I say systems life span I mean the years it was on sale, not how long the system you bought lasted.

NES: Kirby's Adventure (I was pretty young but I know the NES was old by then)
SNES: Wario's Woods (in sixth grade, followed by Final Fantasy: Mystic Quest in fifth grade)
N64: Mario Tennis (Gamecube had been out for a while)

Of course, I've bought used games since (and newly sealed ones online), but I'm talking about new ones in stores.
    Game... ovahhhhhhhhh!!!

I dont really keep track of what order I bought my games in...mostly because I have so many. I know the last game I bought for the n64 was Majoras mask...and fo the nes I think it was kirbys adventure for the nes. It might have been street fighter alpha 2 for my snes...I still buy games too.

I think for SNES it was A Link to the Past and for the N64 it was Banjo Tooie.

Seems like Kirby for NES and Super Mario RPG have been a couple of peoples last games. Were those the last big games from Nintendo for those systems?

well...the only game i really even remember buying for my NES was SMB3, used money i got from my aunt for my birthday to pay for it. i never really had too many games that i owned for the system, i mostly rented them from the local video store.

and i never had a SNES or n64 so i never bought any games for those systems.

I was a Sega kid, then playstation. So I missed out on all of them. I own every system now though and just buy used games or off of the internet.

The last one I bought was MTV's Remote Control for NES.

haha I haven't gotten around to playing it yet, but it seems like it'll be pretty horrible. Probably like Jeopardy for Genesis, but WITH COOL GEN-X GRAPHICS!!!!!

I have it for NES, be prepared for questions about nothing but classic T.V. shows and 80's music (which at the time was current music). Its actually not a bad game for tow friends to play.
