They don't make it anymore, but I acually liked it back in the late 80s, early 90s. There were two commercials that I remember one had a song "I couldn't sleep at all last night, thinking about the almond delight" Now the other I remember well because it was stuck in my head when my grandfather went into cold blue in the hospital (circa 1989). We were in the waiting room and heard them call "cold blue ICU". Well they got his heart going and he lived 10 more years.

Anyway the one that was stuck in my head had a catchy song. Something like "owww oww it's the almond delight, its the white, it's the sweet, something something eat.........Owww oww it's the white surgar sweet, it's the almond delight......." lol Sorry it was almost 20 years a go. If anyone knows where I can find the commercials let me know.

Almond Delight oh man I use to ask my parents to buy it after I saw the very first commercial for it. I use to eat it all the time but then got bored with it. I want to know is Almond Deight still around?

I think thats the commerical I was thinking of for almond delight. That line was at the end.

YES, and it was a good cereal that was not overly sweet.
You could really taste the almonds.

I guess I'm kinda late to the party, but I just found a folder from Almond Delight. That was when they were doing the promotion giving away free money. I still have the currency. Wonder if it is still good :D
They were giving away money from Argentina, Bulgaria, Indonesia, Bolivia, Brazil or Ireland, plus U.S. currency ranging from 1 to a $500 dollar bill. Wonder who got that one.

I remember the "free money" promo but I didn't remember it was for Almond Delight. Anyway that's a great find. Wish you could post a pic. That would make a great promo today.

I found the one I have been looking for and posted it and a few days later someone posted another one from 1986. Gotta love youtube. At least they generally leave commercials alone.
