A college professor gets this very interesting mummy in a unique coffin to study. Later a student finds these three diamond like gems in that coffin. They're spherical and small, but they look valuable, so of course he tries to sell them. Everyone tells him while they've never seen them before, they won't pay for them because they must be fakes. So he gives them away, and the mummy comes to life tracking down each gem... generally resulting in fatal or near fatal injury for the holders of those gems.

Once he has them all, blam, turns out he is an alien, and transports back to his home world.
