The fact that in ten years time there will be people reminiscing about the 00s.

It makes me feel funny just to think about it. Sometimes you just get so caught up reminiscing that you don't take into account the generations of the future and the past or how they reminisce.

    In 10 years they'll be talking about 00´s
    In 20, about 10´s
    In 30 about 20´s
    In 100 years they'll be busy throwing rocks to each other...
    Nice to have Mr Monkey eating-an-ice-thingie back...

      Actually, if you look into the archives of this site, you'll find plenty of modern topics in the Memory Lane section. As an example, I think it was in the middle of the first season of the show, in the Memory Lane section, someone started a thread on "It's Always Sunny In Philadelphia". Modern talk often makes its' way into Memory Lane topics anyway, if only because there are so many people of different ages here, and comparison is a common theme.

          is probley very true..it seems like every ten years after a decade has past, everyone gets nostalgic over that decade..like now folk are nostalgic for the 90's..in the 90's they were nostalgic for the 80's..it will always happen..its a condition of human nature.

                I've wondered this too.

                But how is this creepy or odd in any way? If it was then I'm sure certain people would find it weird that others reminisce about the 80's and 90's... there's nothing wrong being nostalgic over your favorite decade. I was born in 1990 so I only remember like half of the 90's anyway (if that), I was nine when the millennium turned so I am nostalgic over some 2000's stuff.
