How's it going fello Retro Junkers does anybody remember a T.V. show with the Subject name? Some of you guys remember this show! The guy on the show would warn us of the lies commercials would dish out on us from toys to food.My Fondest memory of the show was when he talked about the tricks that Mcdonalds and Burger King use to get you to buy the big burger. Also on the same episode how when you would watch G.I.Joe commericals you hardley would ever hear YOU PUT IT TOGETHER! I t was an awesome show does anybody remember this show?

I remember watching at least ONE of those specials and they always made me feel like I was spoiled because I had wanted alot of the toys they talked about and the guy kind of had a way of talking about how kids don't need all these expensive toys and stuff like that.

I loved this show. On the one with the commercial tricks they showed how they do a bowl of cereal by putting glue in the bowl instead of milk cuz the milk would make the cereal soggy and unphotogenic. And the Guess Who game..which after this controversy, put a disclaimer on their commercial.."Game pieces do not actually talk" LOL. I used to think...I mean how dumb are these kids to believe the pieces talk??

BTW, you weren't spoiled just for wanting every toy you saw. However, you were if you got every one that you wanted!

The people who made the Guess Who game actually did get sued for belief that the game pieces talked, and they did have to put that disclamer on their commercials.

I think I remember that series. Wasn't there one episode where he showed how they make cereal more appealing by pouring glue in the bowl?
