When a company changes a product logo, do you care at all?

I will miss the original viking drawn by cartoonist "Big Deal".

Sometimes the older logos look better than the fancy, shiny new logos. This happens a lot in the resturaunt industry, as well as other places.

Sometimes it's inevitable that the new logo will catch on better than the previous logo. Network logos change often, but there are some that you just can't seem to forget. The NBC/NET Peacock and the RKO Channel 9 logos among two of them for me. WNBC-AM 660 also used the N until it became WFAN.

And since I'm also nostalgic in certain ways, the old Pepsi logo qualifies as one logo that was due for a change but for a long time I never really got used to it.

I still like the old Coca Cola script used back when it was in glass bottles.

I do pay attention to logo changes, and I think a lot of the recent ones have been for the worse. But that's just my opinion.

Indeed i do, but still there is nothing i can do about it. Personally i think its all about greed and the fact that companys hype the product up so much that by the time it gets to the shelves it looks horrible.

They covered up what little bit of her rear that was showing. What started out as just a cute little add got some people scared over the years that it was too close to kiddy porn I guess.

Well I still remember the older Starbucks logo with "Lady Twin Tails" front and center.
After a few complaints, Starbucks made some slight changes.

I miss the old Mountain Dew "hillbilly" logo from 1964 when it was in green glass bottles.

I was crushed when they changed the Slim Jim logo. I don't like any of the new "X-treme!!!" logos that most products adopt. I always thought Slim Jim was X-treme!!! enough without crappy, modern logos. I guess I was wrong though.

The Slim Jim logo looks the same to me. What's the deal with "Spicy Town"?

I'd love to try MD in a glass bottle. Pop generally tastes way better in glass bottles for some reason.

And Lordy was it strong. The carbonation had a real bite to it. So pepsiru1es92, the Original Mountain Dew sure earned its ad line: "It'll tickle your innadrs"!
