I've been trying to identify this show from my childhood. It was mostly animated, and each episode featured three versions of a known fairytale, first the best known one then two others versions that were less known. It was hosted by a (live-action) Asian man, the intro to the show was a very early flyby 3D going through lots of buildings, and every time before a story started, the man highlighted the country that the story's from.

I particularly remember the Sleeping Beauty one, because the first version had a continuation where Maleficent came back and infiltrated the royal family, then put a spell on Sleeping Beauty before the prince came and saved her.

Does this ring any bells?

Thanks for the suggestions. The style is not that anime, it's very European in style, semi-realistic and kinda storybook-like in look style (like with coloured pencils).
